Jeff, TZ4AM will be back on the air from Mali from 22 October to 2
December. He will operate CW and SSB on 80-6 metres. QSL via LoTW,
or direct to KX4R. This might be Jeff’s final run from Mali. As the
security situation continues to decline, he says, the primary chal-
lenge remains the local economy. With rent and utilities running
over USD 10,000 a year, maintaining the operation is no longer
viable, and he is considering closing it down completely. [TNX The
