TF80IRA is the special callsign used by the club station of Ice- landic Radio Amateurs (IRA) to celebrate the 80th anniversary since the foundation of Iceland's IARU member society (14 August 1947). Look for activity between 14 August and 31 December. QSL via the bureau, direct, and LoTW. The Daily DX reports that Mike, VY0ZOO (VE2XB) now expects to be active as follows: 23 August-23 September Coral Harbour (NA-007) 24-29 September Sanikiluaq, Belcher Islands (NA-196) 30 September-4 October Naujaat (mainland) 5 October-6 November Igloolik (NA-174) 7 November-10 December Salluit (mainland Quebec, VE2) 11-22 December Coral Harbour (NA-007) Team 7P8GE (namely Manfred DK1BT, Wolf DL4WK, Annette DL6SAK, Tom DL7BO and Frank DL7UFR) will be active from Lesotho on 16-29 Octo- ber. They will operate CW, SSB, and digital modes on 80-10 metres with up to five stations. QSL via DL7UFR, direct or bureau; the full log will be uploaded to LoTW within six months. The Italian DXpedition Team will be active from Senegal from 28 October to 9 November. Team members include Elvira IV3FSG, Franco I1FQH, Alfeo I1HJT, Tony I2PJA, Silvano I2YSB, Oscar IK2AQZ, Angelo IK2CKR, and Stefano IK2HKT. They will operate CW, SSB, and RTTY as 6W/I2YSB, and FT8 (MHSV) as 6W/IK2HKT with five stations on 160-6 metres. QSLs direct to I2YSB. KH8 - Team KH8A (namely DJ9KH, DK5WL, DL1KWK, DL2RNS, DL4SVA, DL6KAC, DL6KVA, DL7JOM and DL7VEE) will be active from Pago Pago (OC-045), American Samoa from 29 October to 13 November. Plans are to operate CW, SSB, FT8 (MSHV) and RTTY on 160-6 metres with four stations 24/ 7. They recognize that propagation on the higher bands is declin- ing, prompting a strategic shift toward the mid and low bands. Due to a change in flight schedules, the KH8A DXpedition team will stay in Pago Pago two days less than planned and will be active from 30 October to 12 November. Four stations with small power amplifiers will be on the air around the clock on 160-6 metres CW, SSB, RTTY, and FT8 (MSHV). Le groupe Czech DXpedition (OK1BOA, OK1CRM, OK1FCJ, OK1GK, OK2ZA, OK2ZC, OK2ZI et OK6DJ) sera actif sous l'indicatif C8K depuis le Mozambique du 10 au 19 novembre. Ils opéreront en SSB, CW, FT8 et RTTY avec plusieurs stations sur les bandes 160 à 6 mètres, ainsi que par satellite (QO-100). The Pacific Islands DXpedition Group (PIDXG) and Youth on the Air (YOTA) have announced the VK9XY DXpedition to Christmas Island (OC- 002), running from 16 November to 4 December. Young operators have expanded their roles in recent years - advanc- ing from remote operations on Rotuma (3D2Y) to on-island team par- ticipation on Saba (PJ6Y) - and will now take full charge of plan- ning, leading, and operating the VK9XY DXpedition. The eight-person on-island crew will consist entirely of operators under the age of 25. Confirmed team members include N4ML (team leader), W4IPC, NT1S, LY7J, and 7Q6UJ, with the final roster spots set to be filled in the coming weeks. Veteran DXpeditioners W0GJ and W6IZT will provide on-site guidance and mentorship. The station plan calls for 4 local stations, two remote NexGenRiB2 stations operating over Starlink, and a portable QO-100 satellite station. Activity will be on 160-6 meters, and will include partic- ipation in the CQ WW DX CW Contest. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS. Fundraising efforts are underway to cover expenses for the young operators.
